When cutting thick plates (such as carbon steel and stainless steel thicker than 20 mm), the slag is larger and more viscous. Conventional air pressures of 0.6-1.0 MPa are unable to quickly remove the slag from the cut. 16-bar high-pressure airflow creates a stronger impact force, ensuring thorough removal of the slag. This reduces problems such as rough cut surfaces and dross caused by slag accumulation, improving the accuracy and yield of thick plate cutting.

When cutting highly reflective materials (such as aluminum alloys and copper), laser energy is easily reflected, resulting in rapid melting and high melt pool temperatures. This requires a stronger airflow to cool the cutting area and disperse any splatter. A 16-bar high-pressure air source enhances cooling while preventing slag from adhering to the lens or workpiece surface, protecting the equipment and improving cutting quality.

In addition, some laser cutting equipment is equipped with multiple cutting heads or large-format worktables, requiring simultaneous air supply to multiple cutting heads. High-pressure air compressors ensure stable air pressure in each branch, preventing pressure drop due to diversion, making them suitable for efficient mass production scenarios.
