Oil & Gas

Compressors are core power equipment throughout the entire oil and gas industry chain. Their performance directly impacts production efficiency and safety. Specific applications are as follows:

I. Exploration and Drilling

Gas Lift Drilling: High-pressure compressors pressurize natural gas or nitrogen to 15-30 MPa and inject it into the bottomhole, lifting drilling fluid and cuttings, balancing formation pressure, and reducing the risk of blowouts.

Seismic Exploration: 20-30 MPa high-pressure gas is provided to drive an array of air guns, ensuring stable seismic wave energy and improving the accuracy of exploration data.

II. Production and Stimulation

Oil and Gas Lift: Natural gas is compressed to 8-12 MPa and injected into low-permeability wells, increasing recovery by 10%-15%; it also facilitates the recycling of fracturing fluid in shale gas production.

Gas Injection Production: CO₂ or nitrogen is pressurized to over 20 MPa and injected into gas reservoirs, slowing production decline and potentially increasing single-well production in tight gas fields by over 20%.

III. Gathering, Transportation, and Processing System

Natural Gas Boosting and Gathering: Boosts low-pressure natural gas (0.5-2 MPa) at the wellhead to 6-10 MPa for efficient long-distance transportation.

Separation and Purification: Provides 3-5 MPa of pressure to the desulfurization and dehydration units, improving reaction efficiency and ensuring a sulfur content of ≤20 mg/m³ in the purified gas.

IV. Storage and Liquefaction Processing

Gas Storage Peak Shaving: Boosts excess gas to 25-30 MPa for injection into underground storage, adjusting the gas flow rate to ensure stable supply.

LNG Pre-liquefaction Boosting: Boosts natural gas to 5-7 MPa to prepare for low-temperature liquefaction, recovering refrigeration and reducing energy consumption.

Core Features for Industry Adaptation

Corrosion Resistance: Utilizes sulfur-resistant materials such as 316L stainless steel and special seals, complying with API 618 standards. Wide operating range: Able to operate stably with gas volume fluctuations of 30%-100%, with a single unit capable of processing 1-5 million m³ of gas per day.

Safety redundancy: Equipped with overpressure interlocks and other systems, and compliant with ATEX and IECEx explosion-proof certifications, it ensures safe operation in flammable and explosive environments.

Through precise pressure control and stable gas delivery, compressors are the driving force behind efficient development and safe operations in the oil and gas industry.
